The weaving study group I belong to (WOW) had a mini workshop on twined baskets. Carole H. A talented basket maker in our guild graciously taught us. We brought awls, wire cutters, a towel, and a spray bottle for water. It would have been helpful to have a needle nosed pliers. Luckily, Carole brought some to share. Carole had started the baskets, giving us time to work on the body. She supplied different sizes and colors of cane to twine with. Carole taught us different twining techniques using 2 or 3 weavers. I’m anxious to finish my little basket.
